See what solar could save you — in under a minute
Enter your monthly electricity bill and we'll estimate your system size, investment, subsidy, and payback period. Your plan is sent straight to our WhatsApp so you can pick up the conversation instantly.
How we calculate your estimate
System sizing
We size your plant from your average monthly bill and local sunlight hours — roughly 120 units per kW installed each month.
Govt. subsidy
Residential rooftop systems up to 10 kW qualify for the central subsidy — up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above under current norms.
Annual savings
Assumes solar offsets around 90% of your current bill — the rest depends on your load pattern and grid export.
Payback period
Net cost (after subsidy) divided by your annual savings — most residential systems pay back in 3-5 years.
These figures are indicative. Actual system size, cost, and savings depend on your roof/land, shading, sanctioned load, and a site survey — which we offer for free.

UP mein solar subsidy — kW-wise exact amount
Uttar Pradesh mein Central Government (MNRE) aur UP State Government (UPNEDA) dono milake subsidy dete hain. Dono ka combined total seedha aapke bank account mein aata hai — DISCOM inspection ke baad.
₹30,000/kW × 1 kW
₹15,000/kW × 1 kW (UPNEDA)
₹30,000/kW × 2 kW
₹15,000/kW × 2 kW — max cap reached
₹60,000 + ₹18,000 (3rd kW @ ₹18,000/kW)
State subsidy capped at ₹30,000
Maximum combined subsidy in UP
Capped — no additional central subsidy beyond 3 kW
State capped at ₹30,000 regardless of size
No central subsidy for >10 kW residential
No state subsidy above 10 kW
₹30,000 / kW
Central (MNRE)
Rate for first 2 kW — so 1 kW = ₹30,000, 2 kW = ₹60,000
₹18,000 / kW
Central — 3rd kW only
Rate drops to ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW, then no further central subsidy
₹15,000 / kW
UP State (UPNEDA)
Additional state subsidy — capped at ₹30,000 per household (2 kW max)
Subsidy lene ke liye zaruri conditions
Ye subsidy sirf residential consumers ke liye hai. Commercial aur industrial systems ke liye alag incentive schemes hain — hamare se puchhein.
UPERC-approved tariff slabs (FY 2024-25)
UPERC (UP Electricity Regulatory Commission) ne October 2024 ke order mein rates unchanged rakhe hain. Jitna zyada aapka tariff slab, utna jaldi solar payback.
LMV-1 — Urban Domestic
Shahar mein ghar, housing society, flat — fixed charge ₹110/kW/month
0 – 150 units/month
₹5.50/unit151 – 300 units/month
₹6.00/unitAbove 300 units/month
₹6.50/unit+ Electricity Duty 5% on energy charges. Billing is telescopic (each slab charged separately, not on total).
LMV-1 — Rural Domestic
Gaon, kasba — fixed charge ₹90/kW/month. BPL: ₹3.00/unit (≤100 units, 1 kW load)
0 – 100 units/month
₹3.35/unit101 – 150 units/month
₹3.85/unit151 – 300 units/month
₹5.00/unitAbove 300 units/month
₹5.50/unit+ Electricity Duty 5%. BPL (≤1 kW load, ≤100 units/month): ₹3.00/unit + ₹50 fixed charge.
LMV-2 — Non-Domestic / Commercial
Dukan, office, school, clinic — fixed charge approx. ₹330/kW/month
0 – 300 units/month
₹7.50/unitAbove 300 units/month
₹8.50/unit+ ED 5% + FPPAS surcharge. At ₹7.50–₹8.50/unit, solar payback is typically 4–6 years.
LMV-6 — Small & Medium Industrial
Factory, workshop, cold storage, agro-processing — fixed charge approx. ₹290/kW/month
Energy charge (flat rate)
₹7.30 / unitHT/EHT industrial consumers (LMV-11, HV-2) typically see effective per-unit costs of ₹8.00 – ₹11.00/unit after demand charges, ToD differential, ED, and FPPAS.
At these rates, a solar plant pays back in 3 – 5 years — with 20+ years of free generation thereafter.
Get industrial quoteTariff rates UPERC order (Oct 2024) pe based hain. FPPAS surcharge quarterly revise hota hai. Apne actual bill ya uperc.org se verify karein. Bill telescopic hai — matlab 400 units ka matlab pure 400 units pe highest slab nahi, balki each slab separately charge hota hai.
Net-metering process — step by step
MVVNL aur PUVVNL dono UPERC Net Metering Regulations follow karte hain. Yahan pura process hai — aur kya-kya hum handle karte hain.
DISCOM ko application submit karna
Hum aapki taraf se net-metering application bhejte hain — sanctioned load details, proposed system size, aur required documents (electricity bill, property papers, ID proof) ke saath.
Technical feasibility check
DISCOM aapke transformer aur feeder ki capacity check karta hai. Residential systems ke liye approval usually 15–30 din mein milta hai.
Solar system install karna
Hum system sirf approval-in-principle milne ke baad install karte hain. Commissioning 1–5 din mein hoti hai depending on capacity.
Bidirectional meter lagana
DISCOM ek bidirectional net-meter lagate hain jo grid se li gayi aur solar se export ki gayi dono units track karta hai. Meter cost approx. ₹3,000–₹5,000 DISCOM ko dena hota hai.
Subsidy claim — PM Surya Ghar portal
Commissioning ke baad aap pmsuryaghar.gov.in pe register karke central + state subsidy claim karte hain. Subsidy DBT se seedha bank account mein aati hai — DISCOM inspection ke typically 30–60 din baad.
Net-metering shuru — bill credit milna
Jo units aap grid mein export karte hain, wo aapke electricity bill mein credit hoti hain. UPERC norms ke under net export quarterly ya annually settle hota hai applicable feed-in tariff pe.
